After nearly a year of waiting, we finally continue, and boy what a way to start off. John being all nice and friendly with the others, encouraging a budding relationship, and the boom! Psycopomp. Not gonna lie when I say that a lot of this chapter was written while channeling Dio from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Fel is not too different from the devil in the way he uses his silver tongue to manipulate those around him. His illusions can make people believe anything, even the notion that Fel’s every word is true. Unfortunately, doing so is not all that easy. Worse, the guy is so sure of himself that he’s needlessly putting himself in danger and aggravating his already poor condition.

    Fel is strong, but he’s overconfident. There is no doubt in his mind regarding his prophesized death. Until then, he has every intention of living life as fully and recklessly as he can.
